4. Posting in the Ferrari Zone

facility for members. Please refrain from hijacking threads or posting humorous
or personal items in this section. Any such items will be deleted without
notice.
b) Posting in 'Technical Q & A' will be entirely restricted to the
subject in hand, as it is for the exchange of information only. Periodically,
the Club Scuderia support team will visit and remove all extraneous

c) Posting in 'Running Reports' is restricted to the Club Scuderia
Support Team, with the exception on the "discussion" thread which is
freely available for that purpose.
d.) Please be careful when using the 'Meets, Track Days & Events' section.
It is open to members and non members. Please be aware of this when publicising
events; you never know who is watching!
5. Posting in
the Social Zone
a) This is an area where, on a social level at least, our conduct is open to
all registered users of this site. It is also available to unregistered users,
so please play nicely, and if a new user tentatively dips his toe in the water,
do not harass, hound or ridicule any user regardless of their situation.
6.
Posting in the Club Zone
a) This section is only available to subscribing members of Club Scuderia, but
all the same general forum rules apply. Inevitably it will be slightly more
loose in the way it is controlled given that most member are personally known
to one or more other members, but we will respond to reported posts, and
discuss behaviour with the offenders and the offended.
7.
Posting in The Bad Boys Zone
a) This zone is off-limits to any users who we can reasonably establish to be
under 16. It is for threads of an adult nature, but it is still subject to many
of the general posting rules. Users are granted freer use with respect to content,
but they are still accountable for their conduct. The Club Scuderia support
team will be the sole arbiter of the acceptability of a thread\post
8.
Avatars & Profile Pictures
If you are using an avatar or profile picture, please do not use an image or
text that could cause offence. Animated Avatars are also not allowed as they
distract from the main content of a post. The Cub Scuderia support team shall
be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not constitute an
inappropriate avatar or profile picture.
9.
Signatures
10. Login Security
Do not give out your Club Scuderia user ID or password to anyone, and you
should not disclose server logins and/or passwords to anyone except through the
Club Scuderia support system. We can not take responsibility if you disclose
this information to anyone else.
11.
Advertising Rules
We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to
users here that advertise or solicit any products or services. Explicit advertising
and soliciting in signatures is also prohibited.
There is a marketplace available. This is only for advertising single items for
sale, not for users wishing to sell batches of merchandise or services.
12.
Meetings
Whilst Club Scuderia is not responsible for any meetings, events or trips that
are arranged by its members, the following rules will apply to any events that
are organised or promoted on the forum.
It is the aim of the Committee to ensure that all events are open to all subscribed members, unless said member is excluded on the grounds of H&S, is currently banned, or the maximum number of attendees has been reached.
Following further discussion , in events where a general list is posted on CS calling for drivers, Volunteers etc, to participate in an event (whether financially support by CS or not) , it is a requirement that the selection criteria is agreed with the committee in advance and posted on CS , thus ensuring all members are kept fully informed. This should allow event organisers discretion to administer their lists and members get to see what they need to do to attend in advance.
If the organiser(s)
feel they need to exclude anybody the matter should be referred to the
Committee.
All persons are asked to behave themselves on these occasions and to take
reasonable precautions
13: Use of Club Scuderia logo & club name guidelines
The use of the Club Scuderia name and logo is prohibited without the express written approval of the committee – in advance.
14. User responsibility
You alone are responsible for any material you post. You will not knowingly
post content or links to content that violates the copyright, trademark, patent
or other intellectual property rights of any third party and that you will
remove the same should you discover that you have violated this provision.
You may also NOT post content or links to content that is libellous,
defamatory, obscene, and abusive, that violates a third party's right to
privacy or violates any applicable state, local or national law.
You will indemnify Club Scuderia, its agents and affiliates from any and all
claims brought by any third party relating to content you have posted.
15.
Moderator/committee powers
We reserve the right to ban anyone who wilfully violates any of the forum
rules, as access to our forums are a privilege and not a right. Any
threads/posts of these types may also be deleted or edited.
Whilst the rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate
everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem
appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
The Club Scuderia management team shall be the sole arbiters of what
constitutes a bannable offence, and in banning the user(s) the duration of any
ban is also at the entirely discretion of the Club Scuderia management team.
Bans will appear in
"The Bans Thread" in the "Announcements" section.
There may be occasions at times of crisis where it may be deemed appropriate to
implement an immediate 24 hr ban, but the duration of this ban may subject to
extension after discussion with the Club Scuderia management team. If this is the
case then the duration of the extended ban will appear in "The Bans
Thread" in the "Announcements" section.
Whilst users may express their opinion to the Club Scuderia management team
concerning the validity or duration or a ban, excessive abuse of this privilege
may be considered harassment, and may incur additional bans.
Please note: Any request to have your account deleted will be declined.
