I know the OP is sorted now, but I just wanted to balance the DK Engineering comment above by saying I've had no issues at all with them (looking after my previous 360 and then 430).

    Glad the OP is sorted.
The posts here reflect what I have gleaned from 4 years of F-Car ownership.
I'm interested as to why OP wanted indy though?
I took decision to go with Lovetts in Swindon and have been very pleased with their service so far.

I guess I am looking at it from a rectification perspective rather than maintenance and have typically found more diligence from specialists. That's not to say I don't use main dealers, my family have been involved in a mainstream brand for 3 decades and they have some great people. They also have some who couldn't care less so going to someone who trades entirely on reputation rather than perception is what was behind the question, rather than indy vs main per se.

Interestingly you're the first to ask the question though!

I've owned two Ferrari's with FFSH and on both cars things had been missed.

The whole nature of vehicle maintenance - at least the way it is performed in 99% of cases is that itís largely dependent on the individual performing the tasks. Itís just like a law firm. Most indieís create a reputation because a person gets a deserved reputation and people gravitate to their personal brand. If lucky additional people get taken on and of really lucky they will be as good as Ďthe main man/womaní. Seldom the case though as itís not their name on the line if they get things wrong. Consistency is at the mercy of invidual attitudes, skills and memories.

That's exactly why I use a sole trader.....I know who's doing the work.

AE, Migliore (OK two good people), AV Eng etc......

Good if they are up to date from the factory, service updates, software etc.

If not you can be paying for out of date work.

My current issue with my 599 cannot be resolved by anyone without that access and would have likely turned into a big money pit...

I think itís all a bit too much of a lottery tbh

    LOL yes thatís correct...

I should have said an Ďoak island style bottomless money pit as opposed to just a normal monumental one!!

    Looking at your current fault.....

I agree it could be difficult to resolve but any decent tech should have joined the dots together.

The ones I quoted may not be perfect in all situations but itís still where Iíd go out of choice (plus a few others)

I use my (and your) MD for parts (the parts team are exceptional) but theyíve alienated me in service and sales so if the day comes that I need either, Iíd probably go elsewhere.
I know your experience is different so it is absolutely a lottery.
